Explore the submicroscopic inner world of a plant with the immersive Virtual Plant Cell (VPC) virtual reality experience! Interact with a cell and learn about the complex processes that scientists study. VPC is an educational resource of the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plant Energy Biology at the University of Western Australia. To improve crop plants for our future food security the Centre is focused on better understanding the complex energy systems of plants.

Visit our exhibit throughout the day to try the VR experience, meet our scientists and learn about some of the Centre’s exciting research. All welcome*, no registration required.

*Please note that the use of virtual reality headsets will be restricted to 13 years and over.
