Professor Philip Mead and Dr Catherine Noske will delve deeper into historical and literary associations conjured by the artworks of Sir Sidney Nolan. Celebrating Nolan’s Centenary year and highlighting his works in the UWA Art Collection.
Professor Philip Mead is inaugural Chair of Australian Literature School of Humanities and Director of the Westerly Centre. Dr Catherine Noske is a Lecturer in Creative Writing in English and Cultural Studies in the School of Humanities and is Editor of Westerly Magazine.
